Note to self: In future, get permission for writing articles for two different publications. And remember, the one for school always trumps the one for the Varsity. The one for school is for marks.

Liking Disney is not a crime. At least, not yet.
It seems like everyone is slagging on Disney these days. There are articles wondering what the hell is the big deal - why do people repeatedly pay glorious sums of money on tickets, sup-par hotels and saccharine soaked ‘Character’ experiences? Slate has a featured article on MSN.com about a single, mid-40s dude trying to figure out just that. But it seems to miss the point of why 75% of attendees return to the parks.
In a world full of video games and modern ways of communication, the answer is simple: Disney is the ultimate living RPG. There are understood rules and rewards regarding participation, purchase of goods, and interactions with others (Character autograph sessions). And, like any good RPG, you are hooked into coming back. Only next time, you’ll bring better walking shoes.
